Bizzy the Butterfly and the Creepy Crawly Co-operating Caterpillar – audiobook

We were rather flattered when Bizzy the Butterfly asked us if we’d like to listen to their new audio book – Bizzy the Butterfly and the Creepy Crawly Co-operating Caterpillar.

You’ll know from reading my blog that we love butterflies in this house, so this story was a perfect fit.

So who is Bizzy the Butterfly?

….. Bizzy the Butterfly is quite small. She has white wings with tiny black dots on them, and she is always fluttering around the flowers. She likes all of the flowers, but she likes purple flowers the best.

Bizzy the Butterfly and the Creepy Crawly Co-operating Caterpillar is a story about friendship and working together as a team to achieve your goals.  I’m not going to tell you anything else about the story or it will spoil it for you.caterpillar-jpg_designThe story is beautifully narrated by Carly Halse, and Monkey and I really enjoyed listening to Carly tell us the story as we were on a car journey earlier this week.  There are musical interludes throughout the story performed by Charlotte Harding. The music was lovely, but I think we both felt that, for us it interrupted the story too much.  Monkey liked the music but he didn’t like the breaks in the story, which was a bit of an issue as I was driving.

But, saying that, it is a lovely story, with a great moral behind it, which we enjoyed listening to.  I’m sure others would enjoy the amount of music, it’s a personal taste thing and could also be an age issue as Monkey is 3 and half years now.  We’d have preferred it just at the beginning and end of the story.

This story is available to buy from this month through Bizzy the Butterfly as a book with CD, audio CD or Bookeo download for Ipad or Android tablets.

We’ll be looking forward to Bizzy’s future adventures with The Mysterious Mousey Muncher, The Over the Log Frog and The Moth who was the Same – all coming soon 🙂
